I spent an amazing week at the Bonneville Salt Flats during Speed Week 2012, documenting the Richmond Stark Team as they tried to deal with the issues discovered by the SCTA Inspectors. It was a week full of emotional highs and lows, with frustration and excitement. In the end time was the winner stripping away the days that it took to finally get the car where it was, sitting on Course 1. In the attempt to get their first license, only one of the two engines fired and the dream to break the 417 mph record slipped away. Although the car wasn't able to show it's full potential, the team went home knowing what needed to be done to make sure 2013 isn't a wash. Five years, sweat, time and money, but it'll have to wait. I'm looking forward to editing what I shot and will post updates along the way. Also looking forward to 2013. I wouldn't miss it!

Been a while since our last post and a lot going on. I'm working on a short video for San Francisco artist Travis Somerville who will be having a solo exhibit at the Crocker Art Museum in March of 2013. The museum acquired a large piece by Travis and the video will accompany that exhibit with him discussing the piece as well as showing it's installation in the museum.
