Crocker Art Museum - Block by Block Grant
The Crocker Art Museum's Block by Block Initiative was funded by a grant from the James Irvine Foundation. Three artists from different disciplines were awarded grants to engage with communities within three Sacramento districts. The culmination ended in a Block Party in each district involving the artists, local community organizations, artists and vendors.

Outside the box
Working with Soil Born Farms and funded by the CA Endowment, this video shows how Pacific Elementary, Will C. Wood Jr. High and Luther Burbank High School in South Sacramento, are using their school garden to teach social emotional learning (SEL) skills as well as building a career pathway from kinder to college.

Growing together school garden initiative
Working with Shannon Hardwicke of Soil Born Farms, I've been shooting this short piece about their Growing Together School Garden Initiative funded by the California Endowment. We started documenting in 2014 and this version was shown at the 2015 School Garden Symposium in Sacramento.
